The firm and its predecessors have been in Pueblo, Colorado since 1901 with a general commercial practice including a broad range of experience.
The firm's real property practice includes representation of lenders, developers, investors, brokers, contractors, and title insurance companies. The real estate practice extends to representation before local boards and authorities for purposes of zoning and permitting and includes subdivision and shopping center development. The firm has represented clients in complex real property related litigation.
The firm represents or has represented a number of financial institutions providing a full range of legal services including complex financing transactions as well as foreclosures, regulatory compliance, document review and structuring workouts. The firm has had extensive involvement in Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings for creditors.
We have a family law practice which includes representation of clients with complex issues and significant assets.
The firm handles both insurance defense and plaintiffs cases in the personal injury area and has been involved in products liability cases.
We provide a full range of estate planning and probate legal services. The firm has experience in water and Colorado Water Court matters, represents Water Districts and an Irrigation Ditch Company and has provided legal services for establishing Water Districts.
We have extensive experience in the representation of School Districts and has several School District clients. It also has provided defense representation for several School Districts that are not regular clients. The representation of School Districts has included serving as chief negotiator in contract negotiations with teacher organizations.
Our employer/employee issue representation has included defending claims of discrimination of a variety of types made against employers. This representation has run from EEOC through Federal Court.
